I'm Annalise - a single mother and survivor of narcissistic abuse. The journey to the courage I needed to begin this writing and outreach mission has not been easy. There is power and unity within words, and it is with sincerest hope that throughout these pages you find solidarity, understanding, and strength.
Abuse does not solely define who we are or who we set out to become. When we try to leave our abuser we are told that we will never amount to anything because we are weak. I beg to differ. Not every day is our strongest, but we keep going.
I am creating a safe space to not only share my story, but to use my experiences of trauma, survival, and healing to build strength and community for women. On this page you will see written works reflecting thoughts and emotions of my past, present, and how I am healing towards a stronger future.
